The Cape
The Cape was an American dramatic TV series, with elements of science fiction, that was produced for syndication during the 1996-1997 season.
The series focused on a team of astronauts based out of Cape Canaveral as they prepared for missions and took off into space aboard the space shuttle. The series starred Corbin Bernsen as Col. "Bull" Eckert, an experienced astronaut who now serves as a training director at NASA (although he also gets to go into space on at least one occasion).
Supporting cast included Bobbie Phillips, Adam Baldwin, and Whitman Mayo.
Although critically acclaimed the series failed to score sufficient ratings to survive beyond a single, 22-episode season.
Composer John Debney won an Emmy Award for his music for The Cape.
